DMCA Notice & Takedown Policy

Gamequartz respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), the text of which may be found on the U.S. Copyright Office website at copyright.gov, Gamequartz will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to our designated copyright agent.

1. Filing a Notice

If you believe that any material accessible on or from the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a written DMCA notice that includes all of the following:

• An electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright's interest.
• A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, including the URL on the Service.
• Identification of the URL or specific location on the Service where the material you claim is infringing is located.
• Your address, telephone number, and email address.
• A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

2. Where to send a notice

DMCA notices should be sent through the Contact page with the subject line "DMCA Notice".

3. Counter-notification

If you believe content removed under a DMCA notice was the result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification containing: your physical or electronic signature, identification of the material and its prior location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, your name, address, telephone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of a federal court in your district.

4. Repeat infringers

Gamequartz may, in appropriate circumstances, disable or terminate accounts of users who are repeat infringers.

5. Misrepresentations

Be aware that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages.
